Dr Amanda Biddle

Amanda leads a team of four experienced Dental Hygienists. All work to the very high standards set by the Specialist Periodontists in the sister practice. These hygienists are now also able to see patients independently and use their additional skills to make you feel confident about your dental health and smile. Amanda is responsible for ensuring that the best quality patient care is always provided.

Mrs Karen Johnston
Practice Manager
Karen was previously a Medical Receptionist (AMSPAR QUALIFIED) and joined the Team in 2005. She was quickly promoted to Practice Manager as the practice expanded.
Karen is responsible for the day to day running of the practices and is our patient’s main point of contact. She particularly enjoys patient interaction and making people feel welcome. She has a key role in practice Health and Safety and works closely with all staff to ensure that the patient’s best interests are at the heart of everything we do.
Karen thrives on making sure all patients are happy and relaxed especially when they are nervous or new to the practice

Justine Barton

Justine completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at DDATE Aldershot in 1999 and won the Best Overall Student Award. She also holds a Certificate in Oral Health Promotion (University of Nottingham).
Justine attends regular Continuing Education courses and passed the Certificate of Competence in Dental Radiography (1999), Certificate in Extended Duties for Dental Hygienists (2004) and Extended Duties training in Tooth Whitening (2008).
Justine is highly professional and enthusiastic about working in a challenging specialist environment and independently via direct access. She is a long-standing member of the hygiene team and is very popular with our patients for her gentle approach and clinical abilities.

Sonia Thomas
Dip Dent Hygiene RCS (Edin. 2006)

Sonia qualified as at Dental Hygienist from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2006, obtaining the prestigious Tutor's Prize. She served for 15 years in the Royal Navy and travelled extensively whilst serving on board many of the larger ships. She returned to "Dry-Land" over four years ago and now enjoys working in civilian practice.
Sonia is originally from Plymouth and has worked in the dental sector since the age of 16 when she began her career in dental nursing.
She is qualified as a dental radiographer, has gained a certificate in Oral Health Promotion and a diploma in Health and Nutrition. Sonia is passionate about the prevention of dental disease and has become a very popular hygienist.

Geri Todd

Geri initially qualified as a dental nurse and subsequently completed the Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Bristol Dental School in 1994.
She enjoys teaching and has a City & Guilds Stage One Teaching Certificate in Oral Hygiene.
Geri has general and specialist practice experience and completed the Certificate in Extended Duties for Dental Hygienists in 2004. She attends regular Continuing Professional Education courses.
Geri is always keen to develop new skills and enjoys putting nervous patients at ease.
